My friend Jorge Coelho got me a Pentel Pocket Brush Pen and its a very cool thing!
So this was what a got in my first drawings on my sketchbook. The left side is from imagination, the right side is at a marroquine bar, called Al-Sahara, and it's what it was on the table.
Take care :)

Hello everyone!
This is my participation on Daniel Maia's Project called Cadavre Exquis.
The way it works the story is being told a page at a time, by a different author, which can choose how he's going to continue the story.
So this is my take on it, made with brush and ink, on paper, and the grey tones were done digitally, as well as the typography.
read the story here, cc-cadavreexquis.blogspot.com/
And my part here, cc-cadavreexquis.blogspot.com/2009/11/35-prancha.html
Hope you enjoy it!

I've unfolded this little zombie from my darkside :D , heheh, and when the IF topic got out, i already had the drawing started.
So i decided to go with it and try to do something a little different and experiment!
I started by drawing with a quill pen and ink, very loose and spontaneous. After that i've colored it using watercolors, colored pencils, and scanned it.
The size of the paper it's an a6 sketchbook i'm using now.
Which by itself it's a different journey.
Digitally i've added the texture which already had the ornaments.
The texture can be download from here, www.bittbox.com/freebies/free-high-res-texture-pack-the-a...

I really liked the vague look of this character. What could he be thinking? What stories could he tell? Maybe i'll find out in the next sketch :)
Doodling in my sketchbook :)
